Ride and Move Better -

Live and Work Happier

Caught a glimpse of your posture changing in the mirror and thought ‘When did that happen?’ Feeling the odd twinge, a bit of stiffness, or movements that just don’t come easily anymore, both in daily life and in the saddle?

These subtle changes creep in quietly, and you might believe it’s just down to your work, with no way around it. Well, there is...

Wave Goodbye to Desk Slumps in the Saddle

🖥️ Imagine finishing a full day at your desk without the nagging aches, stiff neck, or that dreaded moment when you drop a pen and seriously consider just leaving it there.

Now picture walking into the yard after work with energy to spare, swinging into the saddle without wincing, and actually feeling good in your body. No more hips like concrete or shoulders glued to your ears. Feeling that your body is finally working with you, not against you.

You’re in charge now, having learned simple tips and exercises to care for your body, and how to counterbalance the office lifestyle. And your horse feels it too, clearer communication, better balance, a lighter ride. Positive changes, both in and out of the saddle. 🐎

Sitting at a Desk Influences How You Sit in the Saddle

Does your office lifestyle bring aches, pains, stiffness and riding problems you just can’t seem to get past?

You might feel like there’s no way out, especially when your job keeps reinforcing the same patterns and nothing you’ve tried has brought lasting relief.

Then there’s the brain fog, fatigue, and digestive upsets. That come hand in hand with these postural changes. You’re not alone, what you’re experiencing is incredibly common.

My course offers a tailored, practical approach that empowers you to counterbalance the effects of office life on your body, riding, and health. Lessons and strategies that meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.

Impacts for Your Horse

Your riding position influences your horse's movement options and how their posture builds. Which can lead to certain movements becoming difficult and may even contribute to some types of lameness.

How Office Habits Sneak Into Your Riding

Postural changes you may or may not notice in your everyday life really show up when you ride and play a large part in your tendency toward certain riding habits and difficulties.

The good news is, your posture isn’t set in stone! The repetitive nature and positions of office work have caused your posture to change.

But it can change back, and you’ll be empowered with practical ways to restore, maintain, and prevent these changes from creeping in again!

Meet Your Instructor

Samantha Hulme, RES-CPT

Restorative Exercise Specialist for Equestrians

With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I’ve seen how everyday habits, especially the office lifestyle, can effect a rider’s body, sometimes even more severely than a bad fall from a horse.

My training began in the United Kingdom and continued in Europe and the United States, where I qualified as:

  • A Restorative Exercise Specialist
  • A Human Sports Massage & Soft-Tissue Therapist
  • An Equine Sports & Spinal Therapist
  • A BHS Level 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship

I’ve lectured and performed dissection for the British Horse Society, and appeared on BBC TV discussing the rehabilitation of retired racehorses.

After my own significant riding injuries and decades of restriction and limitations. Today, I’m living proof that these methods can bring lasting change, and help both rider and horse.
